Paper-based Practice Assessments

The reformed Functional Skills qualifications in mathematics Levels 1 and 2 were available for first teaching from 1^st September 2019.

To achieve the Skillsfirst Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics, learners must successfully pass one mandatory unit (an on-screen or paper-based exam). The exam is split into two sections, in Section A calculators are not permitted, in Section B calculators are permitted. Scientific calculators are not permitted.
