Sanctions Policy


This policy is aimed at centres delivering Skillsfirst approved qualifications/units who have failed to meet aspects of our delivery requirements and/or the standards laid down by the regulators, in respect of regulated qualifications and units. Our policy sets out the sanctions Skillsfirst may impose on centres in such situations. It is also for use by our staff to ensure they apply any sanctions in a consistent manner.


If a centre is consistently failing to meet the centre recognition criteria or has failed to implement previously agreed actions, the EV is responsible for recommending that Skillsfirst imposes the appropriate sanction as specified in our sanctions policy.
