Having joined Skillsfirst in early 2010, I have had a fantastic opportunity of growing with our business, from helping to plan our incredible launch event, to now supporting new and existing centres.
I spent several years as Customer Service Team Leader, achieving a number of qualifications along the way. Moving into Business Development in 2018 was a natural progression and exciting new challenge for me.
Prior to joining Skillsfirst, I worked in a wide variety of roles within the financial services sector. This combined experience, has given me the knowledge and understanding to be able to support and work with our customers to ensure that they receive the best possible service we can offer. More importantly, it has enabled me to understand that a great customer experience goes much further than simply “doing your job”.
On a personal level, I enjoy going to the theatre, shopping and holidays. I completed a charity abseil 100ft down our office building Fort Dunlop a few years ago, to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Finally, for a fun fact…I’m very lucky when it comes to competitions and among many prizes my best to date was a bespoke pink Mini Cooper which I won in an upside down auction!
